Data Centre Conference (September 2025)
SBI CHAKRA CoE in collaboration with the Commercial Client Group (CCG) - Operations and Business Support Team organised a conference on “Data Centres” for existing and potential customers, on 25.09.2025 to promote marketing and awareness about data centres, the champion sector for the bank under EASE norms.
The event was graced with presence of various key industry leaders and agencies and focused on understanding the trends in the data centre industry, delivered by Shri. Abhishek Varma from SBI Capital Markets.
Seminar on Data Centre (December 2025)
SBI CHAKRA CoE in collaboration with the Commercial Client Group (CCG) - Operations and Business Support Team, organised a conference on “Data Centres” on 19.12.2025, bringing together senior bankers, industry experts, and market practitioners to deliberate on the evolving data centre ecosystem in India.
The conference commenced with a welcome address by Shri. Raghavan Sriraman, Chief General Manager (Corporate Accounts Group), followed by a keynote address by Shri. Prem Anup Sinha, Deputy Managing Director (Corporate Accounts Group), who highlighted the strategic relevance of data centres as a critical component of India’s digital infrastructure and emerging investment landscape.
The knowledge sessions featured insights on the Indian data centre market by Shri. Sandeep Nayak, Senior Partner, Bain & Company, covering demand drivers, capacity expansion, and industry trends. This was followed by a session on perspectives on financing data centres by Shri. Prashant Tarwadi, Director - Credit Ratings, India Ratings & Research, focusing on risk considerations, credit frameworks, and funding structures.
The session concluded with brief perspectives from industry participants. The event facilitated meaningful exchange between financial institutions and industry stakeholders, reinforcing State Bank of India’s continued focus on building informed perspectives in emerging sectors.
